Not only can we request that samples are sent to your home direct from the manufacturer, we can also bring extra large samples to your home. The benefit of this service is that you can get a more realistic idea of how the floor will work with the light and decor of your home.
You can view it in different areas of the room or hallway, walk on it, feel it and keep it overnight so you can see how it looks in artificial light. Our customers really benefit from this service, after all, the light in the showroom will be very different to say a conservatory or hallway.
With real hardwood flooring, there will be a variation in the boards within each pack given that it’s a natural product. Therefore by seeing a larger sample in your home will give a more realistic impression of the floor once installed. Similarly, you will want to check that the carpet you are considering works with your soft furnishings.
As well as helping you choose your new floor, we will also measure up so that we can provide an accurate quote, check if any doors need to be cut and look at whether skirting needs to be removed and replaced. We will also be able to give you advice on which floor will work with your lifestyle. For example if you have pets and young children, you might find that a luxury vinyl is more suitable than a real wood floor, or you may be renovating an older property and want something more traditional.
