The Beginning
First Floors was established in 1994 providing solid hardwood, engineered wood and laminate flooring in Glasgow, Ayrshire and Central Scotland.
The Location
We are positioned in the heart of Glasgow’s southside, opening our existing showroom in 2011 to include high-end luxury vinyl brands, carpets and rugs. Most recently we extended our showroom into a 4,500 square foot area in order to showcase a much broader range of products including rugs and carpet brands with high-end to budget options available.

What really sets us apart from other flooring companies and carpet showrooms is our personal approach. We get to know our customers, starting with the initial meeting right through to installation and aftercare. Much of our business comes through word of mouth due to our focus on providing great customer service.
Our Services
We offer a one-stop-shop whereby customers come to the carpet showroom for advice, to book an appointment for a consultant to measure up and take samples to their home, arrange for a professional, qualified fitter to carry out the installation and offer an aftercare service if required. We also retail flooring accessories and rugs to help our customers create the perfect look in their home.

Our carpet showroom now offers an incredible range of flooring products for any budget, any room and any taste. We offer a free home consultation and measuring service, price match guarantee, full fitting service from qualified expert fitters and we also offer a tiered service whereby we can remove and take away your old carpet.
