Our showroom has had a make over, making room for some fantastic new Moduleo flooring stands with a vast range or products. In addition we have laid Moduleo on the showroom floor giving you a chance to see how it feels underfoot. We don’t just sell Moduleo flooring though. Here at First Floors we are always keeping ahead of the times and on the look out for great new products to excite and satisfy our customers. Recently we have added a wonderful new laminate which has a handscraped effect. By this we mean the surface of the laminate has even more texture and will give you the distressed look you have been searching for, without the cost of a real wooden floor. There is a great range of styles for you to choose from. It really looks extremely natural and will suit any room in your home. Another product we have introduced is a handscraped engineered board. This is great news for anyone who wants to install under floor heating and wants a solid wood, handscraped effect. An engineered board is made up of 3 layers of plywood with a veneer. Engineered boards are becoming increasingly more popular due to their solidness and ability to let the underfloor heating through. They also work very well in conservatories because of the humidity in these areas. Engineered boards will not expand and contract as much as solid wood will. They also work well in basements due to the humidity factor as well.
