One of our customers has written this great blog post for us!
“I have been thinking about changing my floors as the old carpets are now so worn that no amount of steam cleaning will bring them back to life. Now I know it will be upheaval, but I have been thinking about selling my house and moving on. I have been chatting to a few estate agents and I have been thinking, for an investment, I would put down wooden floors. Now this may be an expensive thing to do but I want my house to have the wow factor and due to the move, I would like the sale to go through as soon as possible. Although once I put my floors down I may not want to move anyway! Glasgow is a big city, but how many floor shops can there be and how do I choose? Well I Googled (as we all do) and the first company to pop up was First Floors in Giffnock on the Southside of Glasgow offering a huge range of wooden floors in various species and in laminate, vinyl and real hardwood. Now when investing in something as luxurious as a real wood floor you really do have to do your homework, but after reading the reviews and comments about First Floors I decided that it would be worth my time to pop along to the showroom and see their wooden floors samples. Well, I must admit it was well worth the trip! At the showroom there was a great choice of floors and woods to choose from. I nearly decided on their fantastic luxury vinyl which is bomb proof and easy to clean, but after a while I decided that the reason I was there was that I wanted a real wooden floors! Now I could have gone to B&Q and I am sure I would have got what I was looking for, but I found the guys in the showroom to be so helpful and not pushy that I decided that I would go with first floors and David the owner worked out a fantastic deal for me, even throwing in some freebies and a discount which would match any big company. Another reason I went for First Floors was as well as a ordering a fantastic and beautiful floor I really felt that I could trust them, and this is worth its weight in gold. The timing from ordering and having my floors put down could not have been better as in two weeks the job was complete.”
